Developing Policy and Governance Based on Public Values in the Field of Public Administration.

UPPS Vision

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, aspires to become a leading research faculty in the field of Social and Political Sciences.

UPPS Mission

  1. The Faculty organizes higher education to produce graduates who are excellent and competitive.
  2. The Faculty conducts research resulting in publications, intellectual property rights, books, policies, and technologies that are effective and beneficial by prioritizing local culture and resources.
  3. The Faculty organizes community service that can result in publications, intellectual property rights, books, policies, and technologies that are effective and beneficial by prioritizing local culture and resources.
  4. The Faculty organizes higher education governance that is efficient, accountable, transparent, and just.

UPPS Objectives

To produce graduates with academic and professional competence, strong character, adaptability in the work environment, critical thinking, creativity and innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

To produce research-based works that can be utilized, patented, and published through media and scientific forums at the national and international levels.

To empower communities through community service activities based on science, technology, and local wisdom; to foster and develop the spirit and application of entrepreneurship based on science, technology, and the arts; and to be supported by an integrated information system.

To realize independent and integrated faculty governance based on the principles of justice, openness, togetherness, and responsibility, supported by mutually beneficial networking, professionalism, and serving as a model for other faculties within Undip and faculties at other universities.
