Alumni Profile of UNDIP Doctoral Program in Public Administration: Dr. Yulinda Uang, S.IP., M.Si.

Dr. Yulinda Uang, S.IP., M.Si., is an alumna of the Doctoral Program in Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (UNDIP). She completed her doctoral studies in 2020. Previously, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Government Studies from FISIP, Sam Ratulangi University Manado, and her Master’s degree in Development Administration from the Postgraduate Program at Sam Ratulangi University Manado.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Dr. Yulinda Uang has been actively serving as a lecturer at Universitas Halmahera since 2010 to the present. In addition to teaching, she is actively involved in various institutional activities, policy studies, research, advocacy, and community service. Some of her key experiences include serving as Head of the State Administration Study Program at Universitas Halmahera from 2021–2022, Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Universitas Halmahera from 2022–2023, and Social Expert for the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Maluku Province from 2023–2024.

Currently, Dr. Yulinda Uang is entrusted as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Universitas Halmahera for the 2024–2026 term. Additionally, she is active as the Head of the Department of Cooperatives, Creative Economy, and Tourism at the DPD GAMKI North Maluku for the 2024–2027 period, and also serves as a reviewer for several research and community service journals.

As an alumna of the UNDIP Doctoral Program in Public Administration, Dr. Yulinda Uang demonstrates tangible contributions to the development of higher education, institutional governance, policy advocacy, and the strengthening of public services in island regions. Her work serves as an example of the strategic role alumni play in bridging academic competencies with regional development needs.
