Alumni Profile of UNDIP Doctoral Program in Public Administration: Dr. A.P. Aplonia Pala, S.Sos., M.M.

Dr. A.P. Aplonia Pala, S.Sos., M.M., is an alumnus of the Doctoral Program in Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (UNDIP). She completed her doctoral studies in 2019 with a concentration in Public Management, focusing specifically on maternal and child health services in the Indonesia–Timor Leste border region. This academic background reflects her strong commitment to issues of public service, public management, and development governance in border areas.

Currently, Dr. Aplonia Pala serves as a permanent lecturer in the State Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, at the University of Timor. Her academic career began in 2005 and has continued to grow through various strategic roles within the university. She has served as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Timor, Acting Head of the Management Study Program, and Head of the State Administration Study Program for the 2020–2024 period.

For the 2023–2027 term, Dr. Aplonia Pala has been entrusted to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Timor. This mandate reflects institutional recognition of her leadership capacity, academic integrity, and contributions to the development of higher education, particularly in the fields of state administration and public administration.

As an alumna of the UNDIP Doctoral Program in Public Administration, Dr. Aplonia Pala represents a graduate who is not only academically excellent but also makes tangible contributions to the strengthening of higher education institutions, the development of public administration science, and the improvement of governance quality in border regions.
